the last project i did was a collaboration with an audiophile but i was a non-audiophile so i think ultimately we made something pretty good because he made it sounds great but i was focused on the actual music and he didnt really give a shit or even necessarily get what i was going for musically. i mean he does/did to an extent for sure bc we have common interests in things like the beach boys and stuff but a lot of the 70s prog influence like KC or Yes I was bringing the table was totally lost on him. also i he doesnt get what i'm singing about at all.
