Sometimes I think it's insightful, sometimes it's bland. I won't know until I listen to it. Thinking musicians shouldn't ever approach the topic of politics because they're generally not experts is absurd because most people who do it, no matter their occupation, aren't really experts on it.

I can't get through Neon Bible, I've tried on numerous occasions. Never gave Reflektor a real chance because I don't like Neon Bible.

It's like everything that made me enjoy Funeral is just absent from anything else they've done.

Right with ya. Funeral was amazing all the way through and was brimming with emotion and power, Neon Bible had a few great songs and I admire that they tried a new sound but overall wasn't my cup of tea, Suburbs had a handful of great songs but overall felt like they were trying too hard and were starting to take themselves too seriously, I didn't really care for Reflektor at all. This new song is okay, not as bad as the new Gorillaz song, but it's just nothing like the Funeral era Arcade Fire I fell in love with.
