That's, like, his second or third most acclaimed album. Who are you?

I see this album talked about so much more than Let My Children or the Clown. I'll give you MMMMM, so maybe Blues & Roots would be the fourth most talked about.
Underrated though? Fuck no. What Mingus fan wouldn't put this in his top 5?

Literally. The Clown is so far from being as popular/acclaimed as Blues & Roots, I don't know how you could think it's even a contest. B&R is quantitatively more popular and more acclaimed than Let My Children or the Clown.
It's like calling Bringing It All Back Home underrated just because it isn't as popular as Highway 61 Revisited or Blonde on Blonde, and arguably isn't as popular as Blood on the Tracks. That is to say, it's fucking retarded. You'd be hard goddamn pressed to find a Mingus fan who hasn't heard B&R.

Pic related is directed at me but you're still a fag and wrong.
Mingus's true underrated work is probably Dynasty, or Oh Yeah.

Yeah I wouldn't consider B&R underrated at all. It's a pretty popular album. Some of my favorite lesser known Mingus albums are Cumbia & Jazz Fusion, Reincarnations of a Love Bird and Mingus Dynasty
