Perturbator is exactly what is wrong with synthwave, and in part the flaw of most modern electronica.
Literally everything he's made is the same, all of it is regurgitation, all of it is a 6/10 styling on something already done.
If he ever did something new, maybe your argument would be better. But an entire career based in cheap, cheesed, lazy imitation, is quite disgusting.
He's not even the best synthwave artist, and not even the best revivalist.

Last electronic musician I saw was ShockOne.
I don't think there is much of an audience for Drum&Bass or Drumstep which is a shame.
