they're shit
They're great,
There is a Hell was their peak

My best friend is a big fan, I tried to give them an honest chance and listened to one of their albums but then my review was so pretentious, we don't talk about music anymore
They weren't bad, but I think the way I was trying to defend them as being pretty good sort of average as if apologizing on her behalf is what angered her, I wish I could talk to normal people about music

everything before sempiternal is bad
everything after is bad
but sempiternal is a good album, in a guilty pleasure way (shit lyrics, goofy as fuck sometimes)
scene-kid core

This.
Sempiternal wasn't brilliant or anything but it was a promising step in their development. Seemed like they might move toward something pretty interesting.
And then they put out some shit after that which is so bad that their deathcore material is better. I can't believe I'd ever find myself preferring Count Your Blessings.

CYB and their first EP are pretty great deathcore. Malaia clearly is a skillfull fella.
Suicide Season probably started the whole groove-metalcore thing a shit load of other bands started to copy. Unique sound, although a bit inconsistent.
There is a Hell's electronics influences set them apart from their contemporanies once more. Sempiternal's dreamy sound did it again, and once again got copied by a dozen other metalcore kiddies.
That's the Spirit felt like a turn in the wrong direction. The more electronic heavy songs are the best tbqh. They should experiment more with that, atmosphere and their technical skills than try to make Linkin Park 2.0 singles imo
>that ugly fat kid in every pic
I jej everytime
really awful band by the way, says a lot when their best album is an overdone Linkin Park ripoff
They were the band that scene kids like (from what I can remember from high school).
