what's the general consensus on Billy Talent's debut album?
THE KIDS OF TOMORROW DON'T NEED TODAY WHEN THEY LIVE IN THE SINS OF YESTERDAY
I absolutely love it. It's got this energy to it that really reminds me of being a young teenager, but not in a cringy sort of way like their 3rd album does. Honestly, I feel like every single album is a step up from the last (except the 3rd, Billy Talent 3 sucks ass) and the first one was great to begin with.

Wrong album fgt. That was on BT2

I only know that song from Burnout 3

That's fair. I'd really recommend checking em out though. Really solid band. BT3 is skippable, but I'd recommend listening for posterity. Their best in my opinion is Dead Silence.
first time I've seen bt on /mu/

I totally agrre about each album being a step up from the last, except for 3
I haven't listened to afraid of heights enough to know how I feel about it tho

There are a few really poppy tunes. Louder Than the DJ comes to mind. But even the super poppy ones are bangers. I find it to just be a really FUN album to listen to.
I loved it when I was 13

Like it at the time, same for the second.
Their guitarist is heavily underrated and would be better off elsewhere though.
