Basically, I find a genre, im interested in, I listen to the /mu/ essentials chart then look up releases I liked on discogs to get further recommendations.

Usually from lurking here. When I see an album posted enough times, I check it out and usually enjoy it. The most recent example of this would be bonito generation.

Also everything posted in the /comfy/ threads.
