I met Damo Sazuki (happybday) at a local pub - I had no idea he was playing, but he showed up and played a set. He asked for a random local band to play with him, no songs just improved CAN style wankery. He never met the local band before but he seemed to enjoy playing with them. Didn't say much to him, not alot of people were there. He just chatted to the band before doing his CAN style vocals over random improved rock.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

LOL Art Garfunkel is well known as a serious douchebag with anger management issues. A family friend of ours ran a bed and breakfast where he stayed in some years ago and she tried to suggest to him some of the more popular tourist/eating/shopping locales around town, and he said "Well I'm not most people."
