ITT: Bands like Coven, Purson, Blood Ceremony, etc.
Does this genre has a proper name? Like this sort of hard rock with strange themes. I need more bands like these.
inb4 "Ghost". No, it doesn't count.

It's called occult rock. Jess and the Ancient Ones, Satan's Satyrs, Bloody Hammers, the list could go on.

Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Blue Oyster Cult, Sabbath Assembly

I was expecting Coven to be the ultimate evil occult rock album but it's was pretty lame
This isn't really hard rock but it's heavy on occult theme so I'll post it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsd6Fjc9MVs
I'll listen to all of our suggestions, thanks guys.

Yeah I was thinking coven would be better because of all the imagery I saw before listening to them but they weren't up to my expectations. I really like them but I enjoy the narrations on some of the albums more than some of the songs.

Yeah I totally agree
Spoken parts were pretty rad indeed
but I was expecting the album to sound something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVkDTaZJPqM but with sexy female vocals
oh well
it's called heavy metal/trad metal/some it is doom
Satan's Satyrs demo + first record (everything else is horrible)
Uncle Acid
Ice Dragon
Uncle Acid is far and away the best example of this type of music.
Black Magick SS
Though they're a little more gruff vocals and such, they do have an organ!
Buuut they do some kind of Nazi-shock shit...

Guess I shouldn't of mentioned anything about that. A lot of people can't get that magic eye to work.
