>fuckin on you when I didn't own a mattress
followed by the hiphoppest man screaming
>fuckin on ya!
or
>RIP Trayvon, that nigga looks just like me
the production is top, but the lyricism just throws the mood out of the window some times
bamp
The dude is young and the album is about childishness in a lot of ways. Plus homeboy is from Odd Future. So I don't know how you can get over it but just use your brain

good point. it just makes me sad that we can't have just a straight up good record. wasn't at all familiar with him coming in to this record - was expecting it to be pure pop garbage. the first listen led me to believe it was actually great, but diving further in to it and its lyrics takes that away.

not entirely, i think it still has a lot to offer outside of its hip-hop cuts
>>70387394
explain how that second lyric is "childish"
>>70387394
just listen to dean blunt - redeemer/stone island its frank ocean blonde without the cringe lyrics

>diving further in to it and its lyrics takes that away.
using 3 mediocre lyrics to dismiss an album of genius lyrics isn't what i'd call "diving further"

>RIP Trayvon, that nigga looks just like me
that's not childish... also the best part of the best track on that album

Stop listening to rap
