I set it up like 6 years ago and haven't really had any reason to turn it off. Might as well just leave it on and take advantage of the stuff it allows. I've gotten some decent recs from it even more recently, plus I like keeping track of what I listen to and making charts and shit from the data.

Literally how? Did they just change it? I stopped using Last.fm like 7 months ago. I would be rec'd the same old shit. Kek, and it would say like 46 plays and yet it would still recommend it. Also, the fact that you can't control recommendations is a major flaw. You shouldn't have to scrobble something you have already listened to a lot (but not scrobbled) just to get it off the rec screen.

Maybe rec is the wrong word but the related artists. And they also have a button on an artist's page that brings you to a (maybe random) artist on the similar artist list. I don't pay attention to the recs on the home page.
