There is literally nothing modal about this album and it's RYM's fault that it's a meme that it is modal jazz. Learn how music theory works before you start talking like some fucking pro.

This is hard bop, with a few cool jazz tracks. It's standards with their usual chord changes and nothing harmonically confusing in the melodic department.

It's quite good, but it's not modal. There's nothing "post-" about it. Adding adjectives does not make it more patrician ESPECIALLY if they're not true. Why can't this meme die?
