how is it sell out? did they screw someone over? it seems a good move after Northern Soul. Also, how could they make good music together but be so incapable of coping with people and each other in real life? I always , no I always say not having The Verve stay together was a real loss for the UK.

"Sell out" in the sense that they went for the more commercial Britpop sound that was huge at that time once Richard got more control. I do like how even though they did this, they still kept elements of their original psych sound
