What cassette player does /mu/ use? I'm looking to buy a relatively inexpensive one. Nothing too big and fancy, but one that still sounds good.
he fell for the analog meme

They've got ones that were made fairly recently for cheap on Amazon
I'd suggest those
I've bought older Walkmen and they always have issues from wear and age

anything used that works well and has dual capstan transport will do
sorta relevant: do any of you know to fix a cassette tape that eaten by a cassette player?

also adjustable bias is a must if you're planning to record stuff yourself

check out on youtube maybe

it depends on how much it was eaten. if the tape just has been bent at places, that is easy to fix though it will never play well again at that place
meanwhile if transport has stretched the tape after eating it the best you can do is cut that bit away...

also, if you're splicing tape use Scotch "magic tape" (or smth like that, looks milky white), it is best for this. I believe some other manufacturers also make such tape.
If someone told me they still listen to cassette Id kill them irl
