It's so punk it disses punk

One of the elite few "classic" influential punk records thay hasn't aged like utter shit and is an actual GREAT album. Lyrically it can be pretty cringey when you hear it as an adult, esp the obnoxious and overbearing misogyny, but it still holds up remarkably well.

Best musicianship of any classic punk band hands down.

It's important because it was a shit-ton more sincere than most of the other bands in the scene at the time who's lyrics amounted to little more than 'fuck Reagan', plus they could actually play and write actual songs with actual melodies as opposed to writing 1-2 minute long blasts of anger
It's got a lot of charm
