Good album desu senpai. First two tracks are definitely ambient, but the vocals are a nice addition. Interesting choice for the cover version at the end, but it works.

Something in the realm of "Another Green World" and "Before and after Science" would be great. I'm not sure if he's interested in making anything other than ambient music now. And, I mean, you can reinvent music so many times. Sadly, not very many artists are at their peak in their sixties.

Some of the album has elements that are approaching ambient but certainly the OP song is not. Music for Airports is Eno's first real ambient release.

This album is so boring and bland. The only reason why I got it was because In Dark Trees, one decent track, gets used in Daft Punk's Electroma. The rest is boring, slow easy listening dross.

I have this vague idea that I should give Eno a second chance on the ambient stuff but this was my first Eno album and it's really soured me and made me wary of trying any of his other stuff.

I bought the damn thing with my own hard-earned money, I know how to listen to an album: let it wash over you a time or two, first exposure, try it again in a few days, now you know where stuff is, start picking out bits you like, keep trying it. After about 4-10 listens you should know how you feel about it.

Since I spent the money, I did give it the requisite 4-5 listens and then it was a big "meh".

Another Green World is a dull album. I'm halfway of a mind to listen to it again just so that I can be more detailed about my case, but I honestly don't want to.
