I worded it poorly. I enjoy the song and it is fun, but the album will never be for lonely NEETS even though it seems to be presented that way. Even with the whole concept of the song being about a desire for true love, not casual sex, it still doesn't resonate with me because I'm lonely.

I think you have to think of it in the wider context.

He would've been a lonely nerd if it wasn't for weezer. He would've dreamed about being a rockstar and all the women and fame that came with it, and when he gets it he realises how empty and depressing casual sex is, he has his decline. He's just as unhappy as he is now as he was when he was alone, if not worse. None of these people love him or want to be with him for who he is, they just love the notion of sleeping with a rockstar.
