Hey /mu/ what is your opinion of Human Performance and Parquet Courts as a whole?
>>70261169
love them
Human Performance was one of my favorites from last year
Pathos Prairie is a massively underrated track
pls no bully
It was a really good album. I especially liked Berlin Got Blurry.

I really like it. They're one of the very few rock bands that's made multiple good albums in this decade
>Human Performance
weak
>Parquet Courts
weak

bait harder
I like them, but they have yet to escape the shadow of their influences.

Honestly man, Outside is one of the most perfectly simple rock songs this decade. It should have been a much bigger hit. I could imagine it in commercials, sports video games, etc.
they've really surprised me at how they've managed to keep improving at maturing... the opposite of most new york buzz bands.

>they have yet to escape the shadow of their influences.
That's pretty good. Can I use this?
I love light up gold and their parkey quarts stuff but this one has yet to amaze me, imo their dynamics are pixies tier
>>70261669
use away my man
>>70261672
pretty hard when you're a four-piece rock band that doesn't really use any effects.
>>70261712
exactly I think their interplay really sets them apart and makes the songs complex while being so simple
