This is small and I'm not the other guy but when I saw them on the Glowing Man tour he yelled at the lights guy and said "CAN I GET THE LIGHTS SO THEY'RE WHITE AND NOT BLUE, PLEASE? THANK YOU" which reads really politely but he was mega cunty about it. When he was doing his conducting thing a lot of the time he'd look at whoever if he didn't like the way they were playing the single chord they were on and shake his head in a really douchey way.

I also saw him on a solo tour earlier and there were audio issues during Oxygen and he threw a huge shit fit. I think it's on YouTube actually.

Add that to stories of him stepping on people's hands resting on the stage and pinning people to the ground for moshing in the early Swans days and I'd say that does it. I still love the guy, love his music, and respect him to hell, but sometimes it's a bit hard to excuse his behavior by just calling him an artistic perfectionist.
