Try anything by Arktau Eos, Halo Manash, or Sigillum S. Nekrophile Rekords contains good dark ambient tracks as well though I won't go too granular (kaltfleisch corporor is a standout).

I also like arctic-core stuff since yt recommended it to me and I ended up liking it, oh damn. Thomas Koner and up north, also Jacob Kirkegaard who re-recorded abandoned Chernobyl locations to get quiet ambient reverb-y effects:

I also have a serious question for the thread about an ambient album/track that I've lost track of and want to find again.

I was having a very nice convo with a german about ambient/industrial etc and he linked me osmething which I might have seen at least once before, a very quiet and eerie track. The album cover was like a mossy patch of green ground with some trash and especially a gallon milk jug scattred about. ring any bells?
