wats a fuge
>>70167610
did you even consider harmony or just voice-leading?

wats a gogel

A piece made from a single melody. Involves lots of imitation. Its kind of complex and was considered one of the high points of composition in the 17th century.

pretty much go by ear, occasionally slot in some applied chords when I have to modulate back to the tonic or am forced to go to a specific key.
Doing harmony better is something I need to work on, often guilty of harmonic stagnation.

ok but you aren't just a wee bit guilty, you're missing the entire point of baroque music

>not actually a fugue
wow dillinger really went downhill eh? they used to be heavy and do kind of interesting stuff.
This sounds like a bad NIN remix made by someone with no musicality whatsoever
:bump:
I wrote two 2-part inventions a couple of years ago and they're both terrible
I would crash and burn with a fugue before getting out of the exposition
