If it has no inherent meaning, it's rambling nonsense. Even songs that are entirely about imagery like Yellow Submarine have meaning. It's about a Yellow Bloody Submarine and spending time with friends.

Also, many of his songs are preachy as fuck. You cannot tell me that Ballad of a Thin Man, Rolling Stone, Times Are Changing, and what not have not inherent meaning.

Neil Yong is a far better singer.
