Both are alright, Blue just has way more standout tracks. I feel like people praise Pinkerton here so they can feel patrician or whatever, but it's still just fucking Weezer.

I used to think it was better because it sounded a lot tighter and cleaner as an album, whereas this one definitely lets its raw edges show. I now like Pinkerton more for that reason.

Blue is a cornerstone album to the 90's nostalgia wave and is overall a catchier album.
Also the poor initial response to Pinkerton was the direct cause of the 20 year pit of shit that was Post-Pinkerton-to-Pre-White Weezer

why is pinkerton /mu/core again? it's such a shitty album.
