i read that most of the time they just send midi files to each other and splice the best parts. they make everything in max

i used to hate their sounds and thought they were pretty grating. but after giving them some time and listening to them all th way through, I really started to absorb their sound and I found that really there is nothing else like it.
There's a solid structure behind everything and they seem to have total control over chaos and order when it comes to sounds.
they have their weak moments but when they shine, they shine very bright
