how does one enjoy music from either of these two?

Mac undeniably has some great songs on his solo records, Peter has some good songs here and there, but out of that whole Mac Demarco and friends Canada scene, Tonstartbandht has to be my favorite of the bunch. Unrelated I know, I'm just trying to spread the word about that band since they seem under-appreciated.

homeshake is more creative/innovative. mac demarco is fun, better social music. i prefer homeshake. fuck walter tv

i don't like their sound. it does't help that pierce also comes off to me as the biggest douche out of the bunch. i couldn't tell you exactly why but his persona is very off-putting to me. let me know if i've been misled
