The Next Day wasn't a 'return to form' album, it was a 'return' album. it had been a decade since he released Reality and all signs pointed to his being done with music. I dig the album but wouldn't put it among his best.

I never liked anything from Bowie EXCEPT for Blackstar. Blackstar is fucking great and I love it and the rest of his discography and go straight to hell. Except for this one song, Love is Lost, but only the remix by James Murphy. The ten minute one, not the abridged four minute version.

What do if you only enjoy Bowie's pop songs? I mean stuff like Cracked Actor and Let's Dance are the only Bowie songs I can enjoy desu
