I tried to listen to them all by chronological order but then I quit when I finished chunga's revenge, he's not that worthy, but my favorite is probably Joe's Garage

Hot Rats it's probably the best stuff he's ever done. He was young, wild and talented, had no fear on making music. That's simply the best combination you can get.

I'm listening to his stuff chronologically. So far I'm up to Them or Us.
Should I stop at The Yellow Shark or is his posthumous stuff worth listening to?

I don't know a ton of Zappa but everything I know I think is amazing. Freak Out, Absolutely Free, We're Only In It For The Money, Hot Rats, Waka Jawaka are the ones I know

Lather if you like his 75-79 stuff, and Wazoo if you liked Grand Wazoo/Waka Jawaka
