Have you ever picked up an album from the library?

Yup, that's how I used to get music way back in high school. My library actually had an enormous selection.
Libraries still exist?
>>70090470
yes, why ?
>vampire weekend
>rock
>>70090470
many times because i'm a cheapskate and don't wanna download
apparently it's not illegal to rip them when you borrow em.. which is kinda weird in a way
lots of nice jazz and classical albums though. some of them are heavily played though, my rip of mingus ah um cracks a bit in a song or two
I got Thom Yorke's The Eraser since it's not on Spotify.

Now that I think about it, it would be interesting to see how these collections are curated in the average library. Like do they just have one guy who knows music real well and orders stuff for them? Because the library near me has a huge selection of stuff that nobody other than music geeks would know about.

Some decent stuff, Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Carly Rae Jepsen - Emotion, PiƱata, Donuts, and a few others are what I remember seeing today.

pop, rock, rap, and jazz are the only genres
My library has a pretty decent selection, so yeah
I used to borrow Broken and The Downward Spiral from my local library.
