Literally the most overrated hack of the 60s, she encapsulates everything that was awful about the post-psychedelia "experimentalists".

Cannot sing, cannot play instruments, cannot write songs. Everything interesting about Marble Index and Desertshore was due to John Cale.

Marble Index is not only better than anything else Nico did, it's also better than any Lou Reed, John Cale, or VU albums.

I do like Desertshore, too. I have been listening to it (and Marble Index) for about 6-7 years now, and Marble Index is just way, way better.

The Falconer is her best song though, I must admit.
