Leaving aside >>70041257 "enticing" and "exciting" are subjective. For most people Grimes is way more exciting that Grouper in every way. I'm not saying better (that's subjective too).

The new EP is really good, I said in the shugazi thread that "Headache" is the best song she's done in a few albums.
As far as her drone stuff I always liked Dream Loss more than Alien Observer because of how sparse and spacey it feels, whereas AO has a few folky elements that feel out of place.
Dead Deer is always a classic too, Heavy Water/I'd Rather Be Sleeping is very relaxing to play with on guitar. Currently trying to figure out Headache but I'm not sure which tuning she's in
