also twice stans trying to justify what everyone complains about twice, "its because they are just one year old" snsd was even younger when they covered their seniors' songs like boa and wonder girls' and still put effort in their performances, "they have a cold" an insult to other artists that had to perform while being actually sick, during snsd's first year, some members, especially taeyeon, (sunny and yuri too), had to frequently go to the hospital and still tried their best on the stage, "twice has a lot of schedules" every rookie group (except yg's i guess) nugu or not has tons of schedules, "twice just has a lot of haters" i dont agree with hating the girls, but a lot of this complaining is not hating: "twice are untalented/i dont see the hype" not hate, just because you dont like hearing nothing but praise about your fave doesnt mean their flaws are going to disappear

bash at twice stans that are so keen on crowning their fave as queens of the new generation, just because of the success they had built on being pretty, and i might say this as an ex-fan, once i got past their visuals, their charisma was nothing, everything about them screams rehearsed and memorized almost robotical

New AOA:

Pros:
-Longest Mina parts on a single in what feels like forever (I don't check line distribution so I could be exaggerating or this may literally be the most time she's gotten on a single)
-Generally well sung, nothing over done
-Went for a sort of seductive vocal tone
-Didn't constantly repeat "AOA" at random points
-No weird Choa vocal belting points that would have been strained live
-If the umbrella thing from teasers is used live, that'd be pretty cool. Kpop has shied away from props for a while.

Cons:
-shit MV that was likely shot in 3 hours so they had to use all those weird and extended close ups because they didn't have enough footage
-FNC incorrectly determined that we got bored of AOA because Seolhyun was front and center too much.
-FNC seems to be setting up a Cream comeback with all that useless Dong and Yuna time
-Jimin's rap part was so weak that even Chanmi's was better
-This feels like a style that belongs about 6 years in the past (refreshing but feels antiquated)
-The music is really boring. It doesn't support the vocals or grab attention

I like it, but it just isn't good enough.

That was an infamously weak performance for Twice, but at least they got the tone of the songs right. Gfriend, while typically stronger singers, felt so monotone that it really sounded awful. On top of that, song like those really show that GFriend has very little diversity in it's voices.
