RTJ2 still the best

its a lot of more subdued el p tracks. everything sounds like stay down. it's good, but it isn't rtj2. i still think none of these rtj albums are as good as c4c.

Listening right now. On the fourth song. Bangers. Lyrics are solid too.

Only thing that turns me off about this duo is how old and political they are. If they were young, and belligerent, they'd be GOAT.

tfw Tougher Colder Killer is, in a way still the best RTJ track

not really. liked RTJ1 and 2 but this album is a really soft 6 in my opinion, every track was either a try hard "banger" track with an overdone formula or two conspiracy theorists trying to get all political. there were definitely some good tracks, Thieves, Thursday in the Danger Room and Panther Like a Panther were all great tracks but everything else was just underwhelming

fandam and iswyd don't flow nearly as well.
also the first track on every album is bad.

in terms of energy FanDam and ISWYD flow perfectly
and every El-P solo album so far has had a great opening track, like I get that Fantastic Damage has an uncharacteristically minimal beat and Tasmanian Pain Coaster has an uncharacteristically dramatic beat but they are both by no means bad
