It's not even nearly the best Pink Floyd album
It's songs are so shallow
The singing is grating on the ears
The flow is terrible
I can't think of one song that stands out on the album that I truly like, the opening track is the most memorable part to me thanks to it's somewhat psychedelic sound, but it's over before it goes anywhere.

Completely and absolutely agree, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this. This album is disappointing and forgettable, and I believe people only enjoy it because of nostalgia.

Maybe it sounded better when it first came out in 1973 if you were in it's twenties, but I too find it sounds a little spacey and uneventful...

The last three tracks are phenomenal, though, if you don't like them I would assume you were a tryhard

Dark Side is style over substance. It lacks any real originality and instead relies upon a chilled out mood for sales. It's the musical equivalent of Christopher Nolan.

It's too bad that the last 3 tracks are the only worthwhile part of it, and even then brain damage feels like it could've had more to it.
And Any Colour You Like is good, but once hits the riffs it's just kinda meh.

It's a great sounding album with deep lyrics about how the pressures of modern life can cause you to go insane you're entitled to your own opinion but I love it
