Balkan or anatolian.
Haven't listened to a huge variety of traditional music nor do I know whether it's actually traditional or not but I love bulgarian and albanian folk music, my favourites are probably by 'Drita Albanian Folk Orchestra' and 'Song of the Crooked Dance' right now.
Any rec's for actual traditional anatolian music though? All I can find is mogollar, selda, etc which I doubt are traditional.
