Just some personal experiences.

Most of the kids I went to high school with were into tectonic and club shit like that. Older generations are either into their shit-tier pop (Pugacheva, Kirkorov, etc.), more mainstream side of folk (https://youtu.be/NctIUTfiyyU) or Western classical rock mixed in with Kino, Akwarium and Aria. Didn't really meet anyone who was into classical as far as I remember except for music teachers.
