because men get along better with each other.

you have to be together almost 24/7 when you tour. most male bands are already stressed and fight constantly during tours.

now imagine 5 or 6 women in close quarters in the same situation.

Because females aren't as good of musicians. Not being sexist, females aren't as good as men for a lot of things. They can still be good songwriters but it's rare to find a really great guitar or drum player. Females playing bass is common though but it's a pretty simple instrument.
