Why are most Hip Hop albums over 50+ minutes in length?

everyone else should have just quit afterwards, Dr. Octagon was the worst about it

Man all raps songs feel like a verse too long. The beat rarely changes it up since there's no real music-making involved, just a repetitive beat. So when you get to like the fourth verse, you don't care about the song anymore.
