yeah I already fucked it

at least you think innerspeaker is a 10 and your favorite album. (lonerisms mine) you have better taste than 90% of /mu/, even anco/brian wilsonfags. take solace in that fact, innerspeaker is one of the best albums of this generation, the first album i heard under the influence, and i will never forget the impact its had on my life and how its changed everything
>>69938264
First time I heard Tame Impala was the first time I got high. Mate of mine put Feels Like We Only Go Backwards on and it was orgasmic. Immediately sought their music out afterwards.
Such a good band.
can't wait for u plebs to realize currents is their best
>>69937898
one of those albums that people mostly like because of the covera nd the first song

Hey guys, OP here, stop fuckin bothering me about liking Tame Impala and Filthy Frank and smoking weed, okay? I'm very mature for my age, and all you 18+ fags need to stop having a stick up your ass. I know this is a board for hipster douchebags who listen to faggotty bands no one has ever heard of, but keep your fucking negativity out of my thread. Thanks b0ss.
>>69938591
sorry m8 i'll leave u to attend your safe space :)

>>69938544
theyre alright but i like tame impala and King gizzard more. sorry no one likes your indie fagcore band
>>69938619
>listens to tame impala and king gizzard
>constantly uses homophobic slurs
Stop doing drugs kid its messing with your head.

If you hate Tame impala and respect a gay, don't even talk to me right now.

I love how clever this song is. He says "I guess I'll go and tell you just as soon as I get to the end of this song" but the end of the song is the same as the beginning and that's why he keeps on lying! Actually, Keep On Lying is a never-ending song with no specific beginning nor ending. And so are his lies to the girl he's talking to. the end of the song is the same as the beginning and that's why he keeps on lying
And "It was noon, now my shadow’s long". Another lie as noon is the only moment of the day where sun is at its highest point in the sky, thus anyone standing under it will never have a "long shadow". To me Keep on lying sounds as an echo to "Sun's coming up", when he finally stop lying.
people like this stuff because it mirrors reality and its timeless distortion...modern society is a simulation, something that appears authentic
>>69938717
>modern society is a simulation, something that appears authentic
you don't honestly believe this right?
>>69938439
thanks dude. What's yours?
>>69938747
That's not even your personal, that album is 10/10 for anyone with taste desu
surprised I first heard this album after it was shared on /mu/, back when sharethreads were actually good and mediafire was still used to share stuff.
>>69938837
It has a lot of personal meaning to me. Yours is at least a 9/10, only thing holding it back is the fact that I love Ys and think it's more succinct.
>>69938747
This album is the world to me too
>>69938921
See I'm one of those faggots who thinks HOOM is better than Ys, but honestly I never really enjoyed her more shrieky voice on Ys so that's a big reason why.
>>69938546
Congratulations
>>69938987
HOOM is great, it has some of her darkest and most poignant songs, a lot more maturity to it as well, but Ys features her best lyrics and songwriting imo. I get how the singing might turn you off, but I find it beautiful and otherworldly. Then again I'm one of those people that will argue that Dylan also had a wonderful voice, so who knows.
>>69938591
>Hey guys, OP here, I'm a mentally retarded raging homosexual, so stop bothering me about liking tendies and dicks up my ass and anime, okay? I'm very mature for my age (im 12 btw), and all you people who followed the site's rules by being 18+ need to stop having a stick up your ass (and put it in mine). I know this is a board for normal individuals who listen to music, but keep fucking my mouth. Thanks b0ss.
That's basically what you just said.
>>69938456

>Yeah I love mu and /r/wrongeneration and I'm really into music. Tame Impala, diiv, Wavves, Gorillaz, 21 Pilots, Fleet Foxes, Mac Demarco, Washed Out, a few other indeh artists I've been told to listen by pitchfork, the list goes on...
>Also I have 0 knowledge in music theory

Nice to see someone using my OC ;)
tame impala is rock music for ppl who listen to drake and kanye west
here's some legit psych rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvH2sHDrLsQ
The other stuff in my top 5 and 10/10s are pretty universally lauded as so. These two, not so much.
It's honestly one of his best albums.
Anyone know of Damien Jurado?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PULCa-5ZBHI
>>69944660
pretty much every record on here except Fatima, Future Brown and Yeezus is great
Would especially reccommend SD Laika and Ash Koosha
I'm not even memeing, I genuinely think this album is a masterpiece.
>>69938544
Why are there so many bootleg Simpsons drawings involving drugs? I don't get it.
>>69943397
Yeah, but once you get soulseek there's no need for mediafire. I do remember back when you could find anything on there but it's not very good anymore
>>69938264
>this guy genuinely believes he has better taste than 90% of /mu/

>>69939205
That's fucking embarrassing. Are you 15?
>inb4 It's a single
>>69939205
Just heard this recently, wasn't expecting much but this is a pretty solid pop punk record (that last track is pretty crappy though). Sounds like what a lot of indie rock bands were going for, only with good production. The only reason this band gets shit on is because of the radio popularity.
Does anyone here like Karate? They're really underrated imo (and not only on /mu/, but among rock critics as well). I really love how they pulled off jazz-rock without being excessively wanky and maintaining a moody Slint vibe.
Geoff is a pretty unique vocalist as well, though I could understand someone being irritated with him
>>69944985
beautiful album.

I love this man's corny ass.
birth of a new day. best enjoyed while it's a rain night, with a glass of whisky or being a little high
>>69938307
I was a Tame Impala fan before I got high for the first time, but listening to them stoned is fucking amazing.
I was housesitting and me and my friends wanted to smoke pot (only one of us had) so we got absolutely baked and passed the surround sound controller around, playing different songs.
I put on "Yes, I'm Changing" and I felt like I was gonna cum, it was so fucking great.
My friend put on Neon Indian and that was sick, too.
>>69949908
this has the best declaration of straightness ever written
