Emo general ~ Get sad edition
There hasn't been an emo thread in a while, been listening to Sunny day real estate a lot lately, still good desu
Also, any get the American Football tab book? Is it worth?
Last question, are there any essential emo pedals? Always wondered
>BUT I'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE

Was Christmas not that great for you, lad?
I feel like emo generals stopped before this came out. what did we think /mu/? I remember you guys liking the old gray demo but not so much the autobiography. Personally I really liked this I felt everything is in your hands is the song of the year

Sorry for the blog post but I figure emo general is a sadjerk anyways
Its was a pretty good Christmas, but I've got to the point where I've realized that Christmas won't be as magically as it was when I was a child (>inb4 underage, 19 actually)
And I've been listen to A song about an Angel a lot because there is this girl I really like but she has a boyfriend
To get things back on topic: Cap'N Jazz's cover of Take on me is rad

What is this desu?

Sounds like you need to listen to Jesu - Christmas. Not emo, but pretty good for the "well fuck christmas isnt great" feels.
Or just listen to Snowing and use the band name as a "its totes related to christmas and winter" excuse.

So a few days ago I realized that I have a super limited version of that album. Only 8 of them exist. I've never had anything really rare like that so I'm pretty happy.

Got that for Christmas, been super into them lately.
>>69931952
What are you even talking about friend? There's a song about not caring about a girl anymore and banging a buncha bitches.
>>69928232
all my sad songs
have been used up they've had enough~
Do we discuss screamo here too?
I'm a newfag to this genre and just heard this and HOLY FUCK this smashed my face in.
I was literally not expecting something so abrasive, maybe just post-hardcore with screamed vocals. I usually like the more melodic side of emo but goddamn I've got to here more of this.
