I was extremely unimpressed by the microbrute. Its cute that it has semi-modular routing, but i didn't like how everything sounded as brittle and thin as my nord lead 2x.

i think out of the roland boutique series, the jupiter clone is probably the best sounding, but i'd rather have the money for the jd-xa. that thing is pretty powerful. i wasn't onboard with that synth initially, but after seeing my friend's band tour with one and i got to play around with it for a second, i was pretty into it.

You can get a Prophet 08 for the same price with twice the analog polyphony. It sounds better too.

i was sorta not interested in it, but after demoing 3 Teeth's JDXA, I can see the potential in that thing. its fun shit. also, i have a eurorack already, i'm not too worried about how analog shit is.
