This is one of my favorite Dylan albums! I'd say it's right up there with Blonde one Blonde.

Subterranean Homesick Blues is probably favorite because it's just so poetically advanced. It reminds me of Howl by Allen Ginsberg. Some of my favorite lyrics from it are "get sick get well hang around an inkwell" and "you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows".

It's Aright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) is also a masterpiece. Some of Dylan's best lyrics of all time. Beautiful and haunting.

Mr. Tambourine man is perhaps has the first psychedelic lyrics in any song.

It's All Over Now Baby Blue is a fantastic closer for a fantastic album.

I'm kind of embarrassed that as a teenager (long time ago) I was obsessed with RATM and never listened to classic rock (anything before the 90's), so that was the first time I heard any of those songs. But it got me interested in checking out some of the bands they covered.

My taste is complete opposite now, I mostly listen to 60s/70s rock and hate the stuff I liked as a teenager.
