when you will finally admit that these albums are mediocre at best, he sounds like a reqular rapper of 00s (except 808s, which sounds like a boring RnB album, and it was interesting only because it was made by a rapper)
i cant deny that these albums were influential, but inluential ≠ good

Mmmmm no. Regular rappers of the 2000's have cliche lyrics over cheap sounding beats with awful production and mixing, and a lack of catchy hooks in general, see much of Ludacris, 50 cent, Huey, or Akon's work from the same time period. Kanye's stuff all sounds more richly detailed and cohesive. Yes there are some corny moments but a lot of the best albums have sappy moments, you could call a lot of ITAOTS, or Radiohead's work corny.

Clicked post before I should have. I will add that you can call their work corny if you're cynical towards word with a lot of emotional content. You may be cynical to his emotional content, braggadocious content, or what have you, and that's is why his work comes off as corny to you.
