Thoughts on The Police?

God-tier dad rock

Reggae-rock is embarrassing
Sting's voice sucks a lot of the time
They have some legitimately awful songs that no truly good band would ever think of writing, like One World

On the other hand I legitimately enjoy most of their last three albums, they're just rarely phenomenal, if ever.

Sting's songs are great of course but their albums are always packed with shitty filler songs that the other two guys wrote.
