Sadly not

It's a shame no new trance is coming out, it's one of the best genres to get fucked up to.

It's still influencing some new stuff, and it still has a small hardcore fanbase in some places, but yeah it is a bit of a relic of the past overall.

It's still big in Europe, especially in the Netherlands, Germany and eastern Europe. EDM kind of swallowed trance so it continues to live on there. The classic style trance of the late 90s has still a growing fanbase. There are tons of great spotify playlists.

I like some entry stuff like Sasha and Paul Oakenfold but I think they are a little more progressive, what I would really kill to have is new psy trance artists tat don't suck, I used to enjoy infected mushroom a lot in the earlier days

I still do, mostly goa classics, psybient and psybreaks though. I'm actually kinda surprised trance didn't become more popular with the upsurge of MDMA consumption in recent years, the kids would probably enjoy it more than the EDM trash that passes as dance music nowadays.
