He's more of a great single song guy than album guy.

I'll give you what I think are at least 8s post smiths, they are different genres, and the production is corny/cringy on some (Electronic).

The Focus is more on an actual co-writer or writer, rather than a side man. They are Electronic, The The, and him solo. AVOID the first solo outing, Johnny Marr and The Healers, it is just awful.

He released his 2 solo albums within a year of each other, if he had waited and picked just the best songs from each (and edited them down) he could've had an 8.5 to 9 album. But as it stands, he has one 5.5 and one 6.5.

I'll give another recommendation to the first Electronic album and specifically the singles that came off it. The rest of the Electronic albums are okay to pretty good

The major fault with Electronic is Bernard's lyrics. There is a big dip in quality after the late 80s. Trite and simplistic as fuck. Some of the music is good, but it drags on too long, because they are dance songs.

Talking heads was a couple of songs, but it was a flop album. But for some reason you reminded me, he used Money Changes Everything as the basis for a decent Bryan Ferry song.
