Pic related For me, not even OK Computer tops this. sun king is GOAT
ITAOTS defined 10 years of my life.
I saw NMH live twice in 2014, and for whatever reason I feel resolution now. I don't have to listen to the album daily. But it's more meaningful to me than any other music could ever be.

Probably my favorite album out there
Every time I dive into this album I discover new things to love. The combination of quality and quantity is astounding. It feels like a sprawling, beautiful, perfect epic.

Turning this bait thread into an actual thread.
As it happens, the best album ever is also my favorite album ever. Supper's Ready is GOAT - it's not often you hear a song with 7 sections, one titled "Apocalypse in 9/8."
not going to lie. favorite album and movie has to be pink Floyd the wall
first ever concept album I ever listen to. when I pieced the story together the first few time I herd it, it blew my mind. I didn't know concept albums were a thing. then I found out it had a movie. and that blew me even more away. 25/10

Can't stop listening to it since it was released. I feel like it's put a spell on me. I've heard other posters here say it has some magical way of drawing you in and the songs never get old.
I'd also agree with >>69853247 I too saw them twice. Once in Chapel Hill and another time at Bonnaroo (still weird to have seen people half ass moshing to Holland 1945). I discovered the album in high school, didn't like it and then later listened to it with some friends in college that are still my bros today and fell in love with it. This was like circa 2010ish. This is an album that I can only listen to at certain moments in my life. Not like Person Pitch where I can just put it on anytime.
