IMO The LP120 is a great player. But a lot of people will tell you to go on craigslist and search for old Technics players people arent using anymore.

Yeah it's perfectly fine. That price is a little high, you should be able to get it closer to $200.

But I would recommend changing the cartridge. The one that comes with it isn't very good. I recommend the ortophone 2M cartridge.
