Opposite for me. I'm rarely happy with the end result, but I've had friends put my songs on at parties and infront of groups of people like "listen guise, this is anon's song!".
It's a nice feel, but also makes me cringe because I'm not super happy with the material I've made so far. (ie. still sounds a lot better in my head than the end result).
