/bleep/ is finally dead. The death of /bleep/ was not a natural death, it was murdered. But rock didn't die from old age, it died because pards got to the point of not wanting to pay for it. No one appreciates the hard work that goes into making a mix anymore, or the idea that artists deserve to be financially compensated for their efforts. File sharing and illegal downloading killed the industry. White, upper middle class suburban pards who grew up with this sense of entitlement, that they deserve to have access to something and not pay for it.

It's very sad for new DJs. My heart goes out to them. They just don't have the chance. If you produce, it's almost impossible. I believe the pinnacle of /bleep/ was from 2013 until about may. Hundreds of pards came in after that. Since then, pretty much nothing. I believe floorplan is the only fresh DJ to have been posted since then. The bants are shit. Where's the next 'Dark Side of the Moon'? The only shit that gets posted today is shitty lo-fi house, and most of it's shit
