and just because it's something you like, doesn't mean it's not dad rock. Most of what I listen to would be considered dad rock around here. If David Bowie and The Rolling Stones are dad rock, then Television is firmly dad rock.

A weird one: Coheed and Cambria. Speaking only from personal experience here, but I got my dad pic related and he got really into the band. We went to go see them live and he had a blast, his first show since the 80s I think.

Personally, I consider dad rock to be bands like Kansas and REO Speedwagon, the real cheesy dated sounding rock. None of this is really dad rock
